1. Actively managed funds are mostly fee-sucking crooks, so your best move is to just invest in index fund.
2. And financial advisors are also mostly a scam. So better stick with the trusted ones, like, I dunno, the one that I (Tony Robbins) happens to be a board member in: Creative Planning.
